A little something
So, turns out I’ve been collecting mental health struggles like Pokémon cards for years, and I finally decided to do something useful with them besides spiraling at 2 AM.
I’m launching a podcast. It’s called the **Wayward Phoenix Podcast**, and before you ask, yes, the name is a little on-the-nose, but also, have you met me?
Here’s the deal: This podcast is about mental health, healing, and suicide prevention. The real stuff. Not the “just think positive thoughts and drink more water” nonsense (though hydration is great, stay hydrated). I’m talking about the messy, complicated, sometimes darkly funny reality of trying to keep your brain from sabotaging you on a daily basis.
I’m doing this because I’ve been there. In the thick of it. And I know a lot of you have too, or you know someone who has. Mental health doesn’t get talked about enough in ways that actually feel *real;* so I’m creating a space where we can have those conversations without all the stigma and performative wellness culture BS.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re barely holding it together, or you’ve wondered if things will ever get better, or you just need to hear that you’re not the only one white-knuckling your way through existence; this podcast is for you. And if that’s not you, I guarantee you know someone who needs to hear this.
So here’s what I’m asking: **Follow the Wayward Phoenix Podcast page** and **share it with anyone who might need it**. You never know who’s struggling in silence, and sometimes just knowing there’s a resource out there can make all the difference.
Thanks for being here, for caring, and for helping me turn my mess into something that might actually help people.
Let’s do this. ![]()
